GLE43: Reduce/Eliminate Exhaust Noise
Our family is about a year into owning our 18' GLE43 and we love it! It's a super fun baby hauler/grocery getter that doubles as a work truck AND as our cool ride on a night out.
However, the exhaust is annoying and too loud on road trips (which we take a lot). I just want to peacefully move between 60-90mph effortlessly (like my 14' E550), without all the commotion. The car does it fine but man it's loud as hell! We have a Dinan chip and a peddle commander installed which may have a minor impact on that but otherwise, it's stock.
TLDR
So how do I quiet this thing down without hurting power and MPG? Or how do I make a minimal impact to power/mpg and quiet it down?

Also wondering if folks have thoughts on adding more resonators? Or is that a futile effort since I believe this system has valves that open and close during certain RPMs?
Or maybe just get my hands on an exhaust that's typically hooked up to the same engine (below)?
