2016 GLE 350 4-Matic
My 2016 GLE 350 4 matic has had very few problems.
1. One of the coil springs was cracked and both then needed replacement…
2. There was a valve cover gasket leak discovered at 99,000 miles and fixed under my extended warranty.
all maintenance work done according to the MB manual.
I’m at 105,000 miles currently.
That’s it!

GLE400
Higher mileage GLE's are hit and miss. My current one has significant miles, was previous owner's highway commuter.
Listen for rattle from the timing area on cold start - well known issue for cam adjusters to fail and make the position sensor on the cam walk..
Water pumps can leak
Turbo oil drains can seep
166 are robust and well designed, I think very reliable.
