I currently have 265/45/20 tires and wondering if there are any issues putting 255/50/20 on to replace OEM size. I would like a little more sidewall because I live on a dirt road. I know the speedo will be slightly off.
Has anyone tried 275/40/20 size on these wheels? i currently have 255/45/20. I like them but wish the side wall was tiny bit less and wider tire would look so cool, i think. The tire in picture is nearing its life so sidewall is good now but i wish it was like this when new.
The best size and the most comfortable and ground clearance wojld be 275/55/20. At least I am going to do this setup this summer when I install new tires.
Also, I do drive a lot on gravel roads and even on the highway the 265/45/20 is too loud and rough. I hate those thin tires.
when I get tbis setup if they dont fit ( i am pretty confident they will), I will either get spacers or get a different offset - probably a + 43 wheels. Currently I believe theyre +61 so bringing them out about 20mm will be perfect.

You’ll be fine. Speedo will read a tiny bit low, but the extra sidewall helps on dirt. Just keep all four the same size. No rubbing issues on a GLE.
