GLE350
Low pressure fuel sensor issue
My 2016 GLE350 suddenly shows CEL, but car seems to run normal.
I did a few diagnostic and it seems to be fuel tank pressure sensor malfunction; 163-542-28-18
Error code: P2539
Based on my research this sensor is located at fuel tank, which will be a costly repair to remove fuel tank.
Before I pull trigger on this(~$1500 job), I want to hear experts opinions.
When I read live data from scanner, fuel rail pressure is showing ~15000 kPa.
But when I read actuation of fuel pump, fuel pressure is 0 bar.
Fuel pump voltage looks normal, so I think fuel pump is running fine.
I was hoping problem was not sensor, but fuel filter or fuel pressure regulator.
But, I can't seem to find much information for 2016 GLE (W166).
Please help.
