I decided to change my coolant today but am stymied by the draincock on the bottom of the radiator. I opened it 1/4 turn (the flat on the valve is inline with the spigot) but no coolant comes out. The little drain spigot is not capped and nothing seems to be clogging it (I was able to stick a bent coathanger section in it). Do I have to rotate that more than 1/4 turn to actually get it to flow? It does not feel like it wants to move beyond the 1/4 turn and I absolutely want to avoid breaking it.

It has to turn 1/2 turn and it will leak around the part that turns while you're draining it. So far, there's no leaking there after refilling but the engine isn't warm and the system under pressure yet either. I'll update if needed.
Hope this helps someone.
