Main screen needs manual start
Hello,
I have 2016 GLE 350.
Recently I am noticing that radio/navigation screen some times does NOT start on it’s own.
If you pick navigation it stays on the screen saying connecting….
Of course if I click ON button on volume dial it comes up.
Car cranks and starts fine.
Is this an issue with main 12V battery?
or is this auxiliary battery issue?

Update: I had autozone check the battery. SOC was only 46% so it seems related to main battery.
Occasionally it does work as expected.
I had it on a trickle charge and going on a long drive (normally this car is not used much).
Also battery is more than 6 years old at least so time for a new one anyways...

second update
As it turns out due to lack of driving battery was not charged enough in the cold weather.
I put the battery on trickle charge and next morning everything was working fine.
I drove to NH to NJ, PA and back.
Not a single problem.
Looks like main screen not turning on by itself is indication of a weak 12V battery.
