Towed a trailer for the first time...
I towed my motorcycle trailer loaded with 4 bikes today.
This was the first time that I had towed with our Coupe.
It actually "feels" like it makes a change to fueling. It had more spunk than I thought it would. Before anyone says that a motorcycle trailer doesn't weigh that much, you haven't seen mine. Mine was probably tipping the scales north of 2500 pounds today all loaded up.
Does anyone know if they change the fuel map when a trailer is attached???

What is that?
I towed my boat today about 1 hr 15 mins each way today to the lake. Boat loaded, trailer, toys, and people and we probably weighed about 5500lbs total. It's also about half city driving and half highway driving and I used about half a tank of gas. It also always sounds like the aluminum rear end is going to rip off but it always does pretty good towing, even only with surge brakes.
I do agree that the car, mine is only a 400 SUV, still feels peppy even with all the towing weight.

It actually does pretty good to be have such a "small" motor in the SUV. Now I only tow it at about 65mph max and of course drive pretty slow, it still is suprisingly easy to tow. It does of course take considerably more to stop the car but seriously the rear end sounds like you are crunching aluminum anytime you are on the skinny pedal or brake.

I haven't really noticed either one if those things. But, then again, my tablet loaded only weighs 2500 lbs...
