GLE43 Oil and Oil filter change...?...
FYI,
Yes the thread states an Oil Change & oil filter change(Service A) maintenance...?...I've got my 2017 MB GLE43 (5500mi)1rst benz and typically I've done my own oil change on everything from BMW M3, Acura CL, Lexus, Honda, few other cars as well...My checklist so far:
- Oil- Mobile1 Full Synthetic 0w-40 (10Qts) I only plan on using 9qts
-Oil Filter- Mahle OX814D
-Mityvac 7201
I've searched - trolled - and paraded the internet for 3days with no luck because I'm sure the car is too new for anyone to tackle this project. I feel confident in doing this procedure because it's something I feel would help someone else in the future & I'll learn more about this car.
The only spec sheet I found was this https://www.xportautoparts.com/auto-...ine-parts-scat
My only issue is locating where the oil filter location is below the engine bay cover/intake manifold
I can provide a tutorial if someone could point me in the right direction...Thnx in advance.

I did the oil change last weekend the normal way. It is pretty straight forward just raise the car to the highest limit then remove the plastic under cover (8 screws). The oil drain plug (13mm if I remembered it correctly) is right there. The car takes around 9 quarts of oil.
