Help with 2018 GLE43 Coupe Wheels
First off, let me say that I'm loving our third Merc, a 2018 GLE43 Coupe. I must admit, we've struggled with the 22" wheels and availability of tires needed in a place like Maine. Recently, I found a set of 4 - 21" rims off a 2019 GLE43, they appear to be 9x21, part number A1664012402. I plan to put snow tires on them for winter use only. They are all listed as ET53 on the backside of the rims, but my homework tells me that the 22" on the car are ET52 front and ET38 rear. Is that correct? I assume these will work, but my rear wheels may be inset 15mm each, correct? The fronts may be 1mm wider than the originals, if my elementary math works. So, is my only option to run spacers in the rear? To anyone with knowledge, or access to the Merc parts system, are these the standard wheels offset measurements for my car with 21" setup? Any idea what lugs I may need? Thanks in advance for your help, most of my Merc knowledge was gained on my previous 2011 E350 wagon, so these GLE's are foreign to me!
