GLE 63 AMG S Lug Bolt Specs
I just bought a new GLE 63 AMG S and want to put locking lug bolts on it. However, I'm having a bit of a problem finding out the correct size and whether ball or cone seats. I'm thinking they may be M14 x 1.5 but I'm not sure and with ??? seats.
Also, what is a good source for these locking lug bolts?

The bolts you need are radius ball seat M14 x 1.5 with a 45mm/1.77" shaft length.
MB sells their own branded lock set for the GLE which appear to have silver powdercoated or painted heads. They're manufactured by McGard though (a popular lock manufacturer).
I went with a McGard-branded set though as they were cheaper and the bolt heads are chrome, which I figured would match the more satin-chrome finish of the stock lug bolts better than the silver looking OEM bolts. Those are McGard part number 28017 (https://www.amazon.com/McGard-28017-.../dp/B000COTX5W)
Note that they are slightly different from the OEM bolts in that the entire bolt shaft is threaded rather than just the lower portion of it, so the part of the bolt that sits inside the bolt holes of the wheel is a narrower diameter. Not sure if this affects the strength or balance ability of the bolt but they've held up fine in the 5+ months they've been on.
