W166 Performance Exhaust?

W166 Performance Exhaust?
I don't have this option. Since there is no exhaust button how does it work? Is it a valved system? This take-off muffler on eBay says it is the Dynamic Performance Exhaust but I don't see any valve actuators:

No valve it’s loud all of the time if you are in sports + less in sport and it’s most quiet in comfort

Thanks HD. So no valve but I wonder how activation occurs when you put in Sports+? Is it strictly a more opened mechanical exhaust or is it also activated electronically? I guess what I'm getting at if slapping that OEM rear muffler section on is all's needed?

Will doing a X pipe, or straight pipe make this exhaust louder? I know on other M157 motors that mod makes a huge difference.
