WIS/Instructions for changing exhaust tips/finishers?
Cross posting to get visibility, I think process should be similar.
My “new to me” GLS63 was blacked out by the first owner except for the rear exhaust tips (finishers, valence trim, fake tips, what ever you call them). I purchased a set of black ones and didn’t think the swap would be difficult. I looked up under the valence and it looked like just two bolts each so I tried today. Kind of a PITA getting the outer most bolts loose, I didn’t have any right angle torx drivers so had to improvise and was cursing pretty good. After I got the bolts out, I could not get the original tips off no matter how I fidgeted with them moving forward, rearward, etc. Is there instructions available anywhere for now to remove/install the tips? It looks like a pain to drop the whole exhaust to make room and removing the whole valence looked like it involved removing bolts plus rivets which I wouldn’t have the rivet tools to reinstall.
Help! Any instructions out there before I pad my dealers wallet and pay them to do it??

Remove the bumper cover to install the tips. I changed the rear diffuser and tips for my GLS580 to the AMG and it required Removing the bumper cover $200 at the dealer.
