W166 Driver Seat Massage / Lumbar / Bolster Failing
It seems as though my massage seat, lumbar, and bolster function on my W166 ML63 driver seat is failing. The passenger seat works fine so I know it’s not the pump. In the W166 ML63 forum there is an old thread about someone having the same issue and opening the back of the seat to replace the piping, however, I haven’t got a response back.
I thought I’d check in the W166 GLE forum to see if anyone has had this issue with their seats and if they have work instructions for how to open the back of the seat to access the piping. I am certain it’s likely a pinched or damaged piping causing the issue because when I run the massage and it gets to the top of the seat I hear a hiss as if air is letting out. Also when adjusting the lumbar and bolsters they drop back to “0” when inflating.
