Flat Tire Warning
In our 2021 GLE 63S we hit a broad nose roofing shovel in fast lane of Orlando interstate. It spun around and clipped the valve stem off fat right rear 21" tire. It went full flat in 45 - 60 seconds.
Yup we had the real spare tire.
Nope couldn't change it. Why? The wheel lug nuts are torqued to 115 lbs. Really!!!!??? The tools include a dips hit little 6 or 7" lug wrench. Not a chance of breaking the lugs loose with that. MB Roadside Service and Hagerty Roadside couldn't get there for over 2 hrs AND THIS WAS ON A SAT. IN THE MIDDLE OF ORLANDO MID DAY!
I went to Home Depot and bought a 24" by 1" pipe for breaker bar which is now in the spare tire well.
