Permanently Disable Interior Motion Alarm?
Is there any way to permanently disable the Interior Motion Alarm?
Apparently, every time we leave our small dog in the car we will need to manually disable this using the Vehicle/Quick Access/Interior Alarm "button" on the touch screen. The alarm is enabled when the car is unlocked and as such it remains enabled the next time the car is locked.

In the mobile app, go to the vehicle alarm settings and you can disable active interior monitoring. I haven't tried it but I assume if you disable it there, its disabled permanently but not positive.

Thanks for your input and suggestions. I understand you've had success with this and have tried it several times. When I use the mobile app to disable the alarm, it stays disabled when I get in and start the car, but when I then shut off the engine, get out of the car and lock it, the next time I unlock, enter and start the car the alarm is re-enabled. I'll check with my dealer service department to see if they have an solution.

New to MB and reviving this topic. Just took delivery of an EQE SUV 350+ 4MATIC. We have a golden retriever that goes around town with us and would like to find a way to permanently disable the interior monitoring.
