Gle63 tailgate closure / final latching question
Hey GLE owners with soft close doors (2017-ish)! Does anyone out there recall hearing your tailgate, upon closing, do a final motorized whine after the latch strike, like a motor pulling it tightly closed? It’s a click, and then a “whirrrrooooo” as the motor engages and slows slightly (which I think is called an actuator)
MB is going to replace a strut for me, but my larger (14) GL has the motorized closure upon latching and I’ve seen some GLEs that do not! Anyone?
here is a Video that at the end shows the latch closing and I think I hear the motorized sound at the end test… can anyone confirm either way?
