GLE 53 AMG build questions: acoustic package

Hi, newbie here, I think everyone’s advice on this site has been excellent. I just got my allocation for a GLE 53AMG and am so excited. Wanted to ask a couple of options as I’m finalizing my build.
1. Do you think the acoustic package is worth it especially since I’m upgrading the exhaust system. My friend says I’m wasting my money because I won’t hear that nice sound from the exhaust. What’s your opinion?
2. Is it worth it to upgrade to the AMG line suspension. I don’t plan on taking my car to the track and if I had to pick,I would lean to comfort vs stiffness and handling. Does the suspension package make it stiffer or more comfortable ride. Thanks again for any help you may have.

I have both…unless you have the radio off, you probably won’t hear the exhaust anyway. I turn the volume down when I want to play or show off the exhaust. I haven’t done any testing, but my 22 GLE53 Coupe is the quietest car I’ve ever owned.

The suspension is great. It doesn’t add stiffness, but it does prevent roll. You don’t feel like the car will tip over when taking a quick corner. You lose none of the comfort of an MB with this option.

Enjoy…I know I do!

The Active Ride Control makes the car. It makes an otherwise heavy car feel much smaller and handles exceptionally well.

For luxury, realize that a 53 will be firmer than a 350 or 450. Having said that, the active suspension is more comfortable than the standard 53.
It's a lot of dollars, but it improves my perceived value by more than the $5,000.

It definitely is quiet, even in sport mode. My 2017 AMG 43 was definitely louder in sport mode.
