I'm not a fan of window or mirror mounts. Over the years, I've always used a V1 on the passenger headliner and power chord routed down the A pillar and connected to power. Never had an issue with front or rear detection in any car and it's very discreet. Plus, I love those vintage Radio Shack looks of the V1. Will be doing my 167 here shortly as I just got it.

I used to love my V1 but it became too chatty. Way too much.
Got an R7 and it has been sublime (and passed on the V1 to my son). Don’t get me wrong, a heck of a detector, great range and loved the retro look and volume knob, but too many falses in this day and age where every car on the road has BSM.
