Hello all,
I have a 2016 63s coupe that has the multi contour seats. I came across the AMG embossed headrest and wondering if I can simply swap them out?

So I received the new headrest… but completely forgot my seats are smooth while the embossed headrest are textured… but anyway I’m still going to pop them in.

Front passenger back panel To remove lean seat all the way forward, remove two screws at bottom. Grab bottom left corner and pull repeat on opposite side (felt like I was going to break them) do not pull down until bottom section is free

On to the headrest itself… it seems there’s only clips holding it in place within the motorized lift

Same on both sides

Headrest motor is behind grey flap… just follow the wire

 

Be careful not to lose the retaining clips when removing they will pop and fly away

how did you make the stitch color red?

 

I used a red fabric marker… color didn’t hold as well as I would have liked so I blacked it all out
