Thank you very much. I’ll start looking for a local body shop to do it after I order it. A friend bought one from CKS Performance in the UK and said the quality for the one for his GLS was great. He also had to remove his bumper on his GLS as well.
Update. Ordered grill for my GLE63 and my S560 from https://global.cksperformance.com/ in the U.K. and it arrived within a week. I opted for the black with chrome accents to leave a little contrast. I would absolutely trust them over the EBay shops. The fitment and quality was great and they have a lot of experience installing these in their shop. They are also very prompt to respond to your questions and ship out the next day. I’ve included a copy of the invoice to show pricing for those interested.
I had a local Tint/wrap upgrades shop install them for $160 labor each car. The guy installing it took over 4 hours each but I’m certain that someone with experience can do it easily in half that time. You just have to know where are the screws are through the car to remove the front bumper. I watched the entire time and MBZ certainly doesn’t make anything easy to do on these cars. Lots of steps in the process but came out fine and I’m very pleased with the look.
