Continental Tires Vs. Nitto

I've been running the factory continentals on my car. 9-10k miles is pretty typical. They are a very soft tire and handle great no question. But I'm wondering if anyone has tried the Nitto NT420 V tires. They are a little less expensive and have a much higher tread wear life.

I'm impressed with my Conti 21"-ers. Decent wear rating on MO-1 rated tires.

What size tire and what model tires are you looking at?

I'm getting convinced that the MO designation, and MO-1 for AMG, are the ones to have, whatever brand you choose.

Factory sizing for a 2019 gle 63s coupe

285/40 r 22 and 325/35 r 22

The continental tires are great. Dont get me wrong the car needs good tires with 700hp/800 ft lbs. Just wish with casual driving and keeping my foot out of it i get more than 9k miles out of a set. My 2013 e63 with the same power got almost 20k on a set of tires.

Are you comparing a Continental summer tire to a Nitto all-season? Summer tire always has lower treadwear rating versus an all-season.

If you need an all-season look at the 'Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus' with a tread wear rating of 540 versus the Nitto NT420V with a lower treadwear rating at 460.

Continental is a top tier German tire maker. Nitto is low tier Japanese tire maker.
