Hi. I just upgraded from a 2020 GLE 350 to an 2023 GLE 53 coupe. Wow, what a difference. The only thing (so far) that annoys me is the rear license plate attaches to plastic. On my GLE 350, the frame was metal and used bolts. Now it’s screws into plastic. I know this is a ridiculous thing to complain about. Are all the coupes plastic? Is there a metal frame option that anyone knows about?
My 2016 had the plastic plate holder. It quickly became unusable as the plastic tabs holding the square nut on back of holder break easily. I replaced with a metal holder like this from eBay:

Might be due to the changes made in the 2023 model year.
