20" wheel offset options
First, here are some options from the order guide -- particularly the first edition, since it lists many options that have since become unavailable:
- 22" 285/40R22 on 10 J x 22 ET56 (Front), 325/35R22 on 11 J x 22 ET52 (Rear) (what I have)
- 20" 275/50R20 on 9 J x 20 ET 57 (Front) 275/50R20 on 9 J x 20 ET44 (Rear)
Now, for the aftermarket rims, I have seen or been offered the following options from various websites:
- MSW Type 30, 20x8.5 ET45 (Tirerack)
- MSW Type 30, 20x8.5 ET28 (Wheelbase)
- MSW Type 49, 20x8.5 ET30 (Tirerack)
- Enkei XM-6, 20x8.5 ET40 (Tirerack)
- 20x10 ET33
Are these really all acceptable options? The 20x10 ET33 is the most extreme compared to the others, and increases the scrub radius by almost 1" front & rear. It will also move the wheels further out than stock. I'm leaning toward the +45 or +40 Tirerack options at this point, since they seem to be the least radical, and most economical.
