Distronic (adaptive cruise control)
Hello Everyone,
I do not use my cruise control very much at all because I find it very annoying that it slows the car down to the lower speed limit on freeways. I think it's also quite dangerous when the car behind you doesn't expect such an abrupt braking for no other reason than a lower limit. I prefer the old and simpler cruise control honestly.
Does anyone know the menu steps to turn off the feature I described above? I thought it was in the "Assistance" menu ? I know it exists because the dealer did it for my on my 2022 GLE450, but I don't remember and have not been able to figure it out on my 2023 GLE53. Failing any ideas, I will go to the dealer when I have time.
