Update - the inside of my headlamp assembly is showing melting as are other parts of the front bumper. The dealer wants to take it apart this week. The headlamp is very suspect as the cause of this issue, whether the LED is overheating or something else. All the other ideas were good, but it seems internal at this point.

I don't have any new information and recently sold the car in perfect condition.
Additionally, I asked the administrator of this site to remove my thread and they refused. I will not be posting anything else on this topic, and I do hope nobody else has this problem.

I'll put aside my annoyance with the administrator, not discuss my correspondence with him, and address the few preposterous statements made here. What was meant by "perfect condition" was that my car was sold FULLY REPAIRED Thanks all.

His response makes me wonder why he wanted the thread removed. Must be a reason. He said the car was repaired so I take it that the grille wasn't just replaced. He did mention in post #26 about the headlamp showing some signs of melting. Perhaps he was told to take it down and keep quiet. Don't know why but who knows. You should always leave/give more to a forum then you take. It annoys me when people start a thread and never follow up properly. It's like they just use the forum for their own gain. Not cool in my book.
Additionally, I agree with the administrator not taking the thread down. No reason to unless it involves some sort of violation. You can't have people posting threads and then wanting them taken down for whatever reason. Doesn't work like that. Easy solution - next time don't post. Problem solved.
