amazing car clean conditikn. But couple of things innoticed
1 there are two bolts missing that connects the side pannel to the frame. I noticed when I opened the hood. Pls see pictures notified dealer but missing on bothe sides. Other bolts seem untouched no scratched wonder why it is missing any ideas?
2 The windscreen doesn't seem to have merc logo etched. It says fuyao. Is it oem?
Fuyao is a glass company based in China and is both an OEM and Aftermarket supplier for many car companies. Since it is missing the Mercedes logo I would say yours is aftermarket. I had a Fuyao windshield in my ML350 for most of the time I owned it and never had a problem. Installation is key though so if it was installed well you shouldn't have any issues.
Thanks yes the dealer checked few similar cars and they all seem to have the issue.
In terms of after market windshield everything works fine. Raised it with dealer will ask for a refund. Not sure if this voids any warranty with merc if some thing around the sensors goes wrong
