GLE AMG53 Wait for 2025 or Get 2024 Now
Was wondering if I should just wait for the 2025's or grab an existing 2024. I know there are a lot of them around and I think I can get some money off MSRP..thoughts?

GLE 53’s just had a refresh so changes for ‘25 will be minimal. Plus, you “think” a better deal can be had on a ‘24…spring for a ‘24, now, that’s optioned to your liking. Why wait to enjoy the fun, eye. My two cents.

My Littleton dealer is selling all 24s at 10% off. Probably widespread.
Make sure you get the options you want, or you'll be kicking yourself later.

I agree with Mikapen..however, I would not "settle" for a car that was not optioned the way you want it its not a cheap car, and getting it done "right" was paramount for me my '24 was the first car I have ordered custom and it was very worth it (to me) good luck

While thinking about the move up from GLE450 is there enough of a difference to warrant the extra cost? I've had 3 of the new GLE450, 2020, 2021, 2023 and loved them all. Never owned the AMG.

My dealer is offering me $2500 off $9500. The car is at another dealership they don't own as the ones on their lot didn't spec to what I wanted...Thoughts?

Current :2018 E63S and a 2018 GLE 63S . Prior, CLA 250, C450 AMG, 2017 AMG C63S
The GLE 580 is a 4.0 L V-8 with 510hp and the GLE 53 is an 3.0L inline 6 with 429hp. In this case, maybe the 580 is the way to go.

"Past performance is no guarantee of future results" applies now because this time it probably is different.

2018 amg e63 s wagon, 2017 E300 Sport
Well, my wife and children will be driving it most of the time. They really know how to trash a car. So, spending the extra $40K plus seems wasteful to me. On the positive side I do have a 2018 e63s wagon, purchased new, that I store during the winter months and drive on nice days during the summer months. But now that you mentioned it maybe I should just do it!

I just took delivery of a 2024 GLE63s. Got $7000 off MSRP and credit for add-on I didn't want.
I test drove both 53 and 63. I wanted the 53's better fuel efficiency and I do like the lower front bumper design. However, I couldn't deal with the 53's anemic brakes, meh engine/exhaust sound, and it seemed to be really loud and obnoxious piped into the audio speakers. The ride on it was pretty harsh. Also there aren't any 53 models on the lot spec'ed the way I want, but there's a few 63s (though not at Littleton).

I had a 53 on order then luckily came across an amazing deal on a 63 and pulled the trigger and haven't looked back. Best decision I've ever made! The extra power is phenomenal and the exhaust sound is amazing, the 53 doesn't even come close. I was initially a bit concerned about the fuel economy but after driving for a few months, the overall consumption isn't that much different than my previous 450. I find it consumes slightly more fuel on my regular daily drives, however, when I'm towing, loaded with passengers or cargo the fuel economy is actually better than the 450 so it averages out. Overall, I'm super happy with it and every time I hit the throttle, the smile on my face 100% justifies the additional premium.
