CarPlay not showing up in full screen anymore. Anyone else?
2024 GLE 53 just noticed that Apple CarPlay is not showing up in full screen anymore. The left edge is moved to the right and no longer shows on full screen.
I understand this could be a bug on Apple side since one of my IPhones is running iOS 18 beta, but I tested it with a connection on non-beta iOS versions and it’s showing the same thing.
It leads to believe that it’s something on the Mercedes side, but I don’t think there was a recent update to the COMAND.
Anyone else have this issue?

This is actually normal. You have MBUX, not COMAND, and one of the many complaints was that CarPlay took a step back in MBUX and was no longer full screen. However, it looks like MB finally improved it somewhat in the latest version. It used to look like the pic below, so it appears they at least extended it on the right side now. Here's an older thread that talks about it.
