Genuine MB parts verses after market, how do we rate them?
I just priced genuine MB front control arm "rear bushes" for my GLE63S and stone the crows they want US$626 for just one.
FCP Euro have a selection with some marked as OE (Lemforder brand) #1663300143/243. I am not familiar with this brand, but Google suggest Lemforder makes parts for MB.
1. So is it in fact the same as genuine MB or not?
2. How do we rate the various after market brands Vaico, Febi bilsteinto for example, against genuine MB and are there brands to steer clear of?
