2024 GLE 53 AMG Brake Noise
About a month ago I bought a 2024 GLE 53 AMG (Certified Pre-Owned 13k miles) and a few days after delivery I began to notice that the front brakes are pretty dang loud. High pitched squeal whenever I come to a stop under light and medium brake pressure. I don’t have the performance brakes, just standard AMG brakes. I took it to the dealership this week and they said everything was perfect and couldn’t replicate the sound (shocker). They said AMG brakes are meant to be used under heavy loads and this sound (even though they couldn’t reproduce it) was normal and they recommended bedding the brakes to the pad over a few miles while driving. Also blamed ambient temperature, pad temp etc etc….has anyone else experienced this? Talked to a friend who has the exact same vehicle and no noise on hers. TYIA

I have a 2024 GLE 53. Owned it since June 2023.
I have it tuned and modded so it is a little bit faster than stock. I done several stops from 150 MPH, or went on car rallies where the brakes were faded to hot fire and never once had I had any brake noise ever. Currently at just over 10k miles so same as yours.
Your dealer is a piece of junk as I am being polite. Find another dealer and stay away from these bums forever. If they say some nonsense about simple brake noise who knows what other broken things will be “normal” in the future.

@Laneonaplane I agree with your dealer.
Definitely try bedding your brakes.
It could make an enormous difference, both in sound and stopping power.
It may not solve your issue, but definitely give it a shot.
Light use around town is conducive to brake noise.
Give it an hour's abuse and I'll bet things improve.
Also, ask them to use "Chassis Ears" to determine the source of the sound if you can't fix it by driving.
I believe all Mercedes shops are required to have Chassis Ears for diagnosis.

I appreciate all the help, had some fun on a country road last night and went through a pretty good brake bedding cycle down to brake fade basically...Driving it this morning there hasn't been any sound...Will update later if it continues to be resolved
