Looking to purchase 2021 GLE-63S 13k miles one owner and nice spec.. curious to know what the most notorious or commonly known problems that may possibly persist or exist others have experienced. Thanks in advance

Oil vapor separator failure leading to failed rear main seal failure is not uncommon with the M177 4.0TTV8. On this site reported mostly on E63 and C63. Other models have reported this failure, but seems less common than C- and E-.

The W213 AMG section seems most active for the AMG variant of the M177 + 9G-Tronic powertrain. Have a read there.

I don't think there's a single thread on here about RMS issue with the GLE63. It's only with the E and G variants with the M177. C doesn't have any threads of RMS failure either... that I'm aware of.

I bought mine with 22k miles and I have had no issues one year in.
Sounds like a good deal you are getting.

Small things. The random camera error that was finally repaired by replacing the stereo cameras and "hood" that supposedly was off gassing causing the cameras to fog. The evaporator (AC) developed a leak and had to be replaced. I have the wood dash (ash?) and it began cracking so they replaced it. The stitching failed on all the seats other than the drivers seat and each was replaced at a different time.
Bigger things were the oil pressure solenoid failed in the oil pan which required the entire engine removal to replace. Somehow the windshield washer fluid heater tubing developed a leak so coolant boiled out of the washer tank and the part took months to get. MB said they were going to compensate us for the time loss without the vehicle but have yet to do so.
It is really nice but I wish it had other wheels than the 22" due to limited tire choices and I believe the comfort of the ride is somewhat sacrificed by them. 10 - 15k miles is all I get from the set of 22". I also have a 22 S580 and to me it is much nicer, quieter and smoother than the GLE and so far has experienced far less problems but that is comparing apples to oranges. I still enjoy the 63 but it has become a garage queen after finally getting it back. The wife said she prefers driving it due to the visibility from the SUV but she only drove it once after we got it back and since she can choose which to drive everyday and chooses the S580 tells me more than what she said. She claimed it is due to the heated steering wheel the 63 lacks (drive controls = no heated wheel).
It is quick and nimble. Steering is tight like it is on rails. The brakes are unbelievably great. Best brakes I have ever had on any vehicle. Brake dust is a nightmare though. I enjoy it. All said I enjoy the S580 more (pure comfort) as I believe she does as well.
