Hybrid parking?
Despite being a bit of a gas guzzler, technically the AMG GLE53 is a hybrid. So I’m wondering, is it allowed to park in hybrid parking spaces at airports, etc? Not the plug-in spots, just the ones labeled for hybrids.

The 53 is technically a 48V mild hybrid, so based on what I've found, that doesn't qualify for hybrid parking spots. The main differentiator is that a mild hybrid cannot run solely on electric power. The electric assistance from a mild hybrid system is minimal. Those spots are reserved for full hybrids that can run on electric power only for part of the time.

Until someone fully specifies a rule or statute which states that a full hybrid can park here only, or a hybrid partial car cannot.
It means your diesel cannot for sure. But an hybrid assist? No clue. Will you win in a court for considering that the GLE 53 is in fact partial hybrid. Yep ai believe so.
We should qualify.
