I did in fact contact them. Their sales and marketing team is a joke. We exchanged three emails and they refused to tell me who is in the tri-state area that offers their software. How are we suppose to know what shops carry the software and programming without having a list of vendors for each state that has hp tuners support.

Well that was my first opinion on all of that when looking on their website. They have poor layout, with even poorer details. But I was not going to bash something that you are interested in for whatever reason.
Now that you said that, I can add my comment, as I am very familiar with car tuning or processes and even beta testing for companies and brand new cars. From simple experience if you cannot get a good customer service experience when you are actually trying to give them your money, imagine what can potentially happen when you need after tuning assistance and they already swiped your credit card, catastrophic situations. I know from personal experience of blown motors etc.

Thanks for the input suby01 I appreciate the feedback. Yeah, it’s a shame that a lot of tuners want to take your money with subpar at best customer service and zero follow ups after the sale / tune.
I have used Renntech before however, 4 grand and the tune is only ok in performance. I know obviously it’s a conservative tune, as they are a reputable company and don’t want to push the parameters. I have also used EC and while the performance is greatly felt; The greatness of the tune doesn’t outweigh the vehicle going into limp mode, poor shifting characteristics and spark plug blowout.
I was hoping hp tuners would be worthwhile however, I am finding out differently based on the customer service from the company itself right from the gate.
