GL53 Dashcam issue
I have a 2022 GL53 and soon after picking it up (about 18 months ago) I activated the dashcam feature. It worked ok but always annoyed me that it doesn’t autostart which I would assume to be a basic function of any dashcam.
But we lived with it, had it tied to a favourite function, and it has been working fine….
Anyway I red somewhere that maybe an MBUX update might give me the autostart function (as I believe it is available for some people), so I took this info to my dealer and got them to update the MBUX. They did this 2 weeks ago.
Now the dashcam is gone. I have raised a ticket with Mercedes me support after being directed to do so by the dealer, but they have been looking at it for over a week now and have no idea. But what is really odd is that all evidence of it has gone from my account, it no longer shows as an option and doesn’t show in previous purchases.
This is very frustrating/disappointing. Wishing I had never taken it in to the dealer now!
