Spec review - Considering Sodalite or Twilight Blue GLE53 with silver 22 wheels
I'm considering buying this new car off the showroom floor (never bought new before). It is Sodalite Blue Metallic (US it's called Twilight Blue) and with the forged 22 inch wheels in silver.
Not a spec I would have chosen for myself (currently have a 2021 GLC43 in white) - but kinda loving the dark blue and silver combo, not sure if I'd get tired of it though.. I haven't seen it outside in the sun - does anyone have good pics of this colour outdoors?
That's a killer spec. Sodalite/Twilight Blue is an awesome choice. In the sun it has a lot of depth and can look almost black in some lights until the light hits it just right and the blue metallic pops. The silver wheels are a classic combo with dark blue and keep it looking sharp, not too flashy.
You might get tired of keeping a dark color clean, but you won't get tired of the color itself. It's a timeless look.
Since the car apparently has the black out package, which looks great BTW (I have same on my GLE) I would 100% consider having the wheels powder coated black (like in the above pics) the aluminum is somewhat old school looking IMHO
