GLE 43 Tuning Options
Good evening All, I’m considering tuning my 2018 GLE43 coupe but I’m not positive which tuner to use. The more popular ones that come to mine are Weistec, and Renntec.
Why does Renntec claim only 41 hp and 62 foot pounds of torque and yet Weistec claims 110 hp and 167 foot pounds of torque??
What has the groups experience
been regarding power increase, fuel economy, after the tune and the reliability of the tune.

Weistec's numbers include a smaller pulley for more boost, while Renntec's are for a software-only remap. Realistically, expect about 50-70hp from just a tune. Reliability is fine if you use good fuel. The power gain is very noticeable. Many owners go with Eurocharged or AMR for a safe, effective tune.

This car isn’t supercharged, so there isn’t a pulley to change ..
Weistec's numbers include a smaller pulley for more boost, while Renntec's are for a software-only remap. Realistically, expect about 50-70hp from just a tune. Reliability is fine if you use good fuel. The power gain is very noticeable. Many owners go with Eurocharged or AMR for a safe, effective tune.
