On this topic, I see where to jack the car, but where do you put the stands?

I came across a pretty useful tool a while back Its called an AGM jack rod. It temporarily turns your floor jack into a jack stand. No need for other stands. Works really well for summer to winter tire swaps

I hadn't seen that, but it looks useful.

I use a Powerbuilt
3 Ton All-in-One Jackstand/Bottle Jack on my RV.

It's really stout (and heavy), but its minimum height is 11", so you'd probably need to raise your suspension a bit to place it. I got mine at Tractor Supply for $70. They also have a pinch weld pad.

What I like about the AGM jack rod is that it is spring loaded and once in place it provides protection from a hydraulic failure

Great suggestions but this doesn’t answer my question. If I want to put the car up on 4 jacks, where do I put the jack stands? The car seems to be designed with 4 jack points for a car lift. I don’t have a lift. Just want all 4 wheels in the air.

With either of these, you just use the jack points and just leave them there. They essentially become jack stands.

Edit: Now I see your question.
The jack points for the lift are where you place those "convertible" jacks. They lift, then lock like a jack stand.

This is a great option but for someone who already has jack stands and a heavy duty jack for use on other vehicles, I don't care to invest in 4 separate new jacks just to do the Benz.

Thanks for the suggestions

Your stipulations keep changing so it's difficult to make recommendations.

Sorry, I’m not sure I understand. How have my stipulations changed? Originally they were, finding a location to Jack vehicle so that I could put a jack stand where Mercedes recommends the car be supported. That hasn’t changed. Solutions were provided that didn’t fit my stipulations, but my stipulations did not change. This is the only vehicle I’ve ever owned in 45 years that didn’t provide a location to Jack the vehicle and then put it on a stand without having to buy four different jackstands.

I see you Coach! While I haven't on my '21 GLE53, I have on my previous C43 - jack up at the designated points, then place jack stands at sturdy suspension point like the lower control arm, setting and securing one side at a time.

You didn't say you had a Jack. You didn't say you had 4 jackstands. You didn't say you didn't want to invest in a solution. You didn't ask for alternative jack points that wouldn't interfere with the designated points.
Now that we know those things, the recommendations might be different.
My bad.
