Short Review: Hankook Dynapro evo AS (RA21)
I've got a few thousand miles on the Hankook Dynapro evo AS (RA21) tires for the 22" wheels and wanted to report back. Overall, I am very happy with the tires.
* My total installed cost for all 4 tires was $1,400. For comparison, the Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season are $4,000.
* They are actually all season tires. They work in light snow if you take it easy. They are not winter tires; don't expect miracles.
* The ride is surprisingly good in Comfort mode given the 22" wheels.
* Performance and steering response are good. Presumably not as good as summer tires.
* I haven't noticed any road noise, but I have the Acoustic Comfort package so ymmv. One thing the Pirellis have that these don't is sound absorbing foam.
* Tire life is still unknown at this point. They have a UTQG tread wear rating of 540 so they should at least outlast most performance summer tires.
* They are hard to find.
* Unfortunately, I don't have any experience on different tires in this car to tell you how they compare. I immediately replaced the tires when I got the car.
tl;dr - I don't see how the Pirelli all seasons are worth the extra $2,600 and these still do 0-60 in 3.8sec.
