Vision GLK BLUETEC HYBRID: Clean and efficient solution
http://technology.profusehost.net/ca...ient-solution/
"TrueBlueSolutions" strategy in the compact SUV segment, true to the guiding Mercedes-Benz theme of producing the world’s most efficient and clean drive systems. The Vision GLK BLUETEC HYBRID achieved this goal by combining the new BLUETEC four-cylinder diesel engine generation with a hybrid module. This combination generates an overall output of 165 kW/224 hp, and a torque of 560 Nm. Superior performance can be taken as read in view of these figures. And yet the Vision GLK BLUETEC HYBRID returns a fuel consumption of only 5.9 l per 100 km.

Still baffles me why Benz is sticking with the Bluetec urea injection system when there is already technology that out dates it. Honda has developed a catalyst system that works just as well but requires no adding of urea at every oil change. Anyone with a Bluetec E on here? Just wondering if Benz is giving you the urea fill up free or if they are in typical Benz fashion charging you an arm and leg for trying to help the environment.
