Order entry date

Does anyone have information on when you can place an order for the GLK or when the intro date is?
Thanks!

According to press releases i've read, the GLK is about to start production with a European intro date of August/September, while the US intro date is next January. Guess you could predict a US orderable date of June/July, but i'd go ahead and reserve your "ordering spot" at the dealer if you are serious.

Might want to check with your dealership, when I asked at mine they said they were scheduled (barring any delays) to get a promo car in mid summer early fall. At that time they would start taking orders.

Sorry for the delay-thanks for the response. I'm thinking that if it is being introduced in January that orders could be taken by July-Sept.

When I say mid summer early fall..I'm talking 2008 not 2009. From what my salesman could tell me the demo unit has an arrival date of mid summer early fall (August-October) at that time they can officially start taking orders. So depending on what build spots your dealership has your car would be built in January, barring any delays you would be set to pick it up sometime in the spring of 2009. So your guess of July-Sept is probably right on, just all depends on how many delays they end up having, keep in mind the C was to be introduced in the summer and it was delayed a few months till late fall.
