GLK-AMG, I said No, No, No

GLK-AMG, I said No, No, No
Maybe yes, yes, yes?
I was underwhelmed at the knowledge or detailed information available at he Benz, LA Auto Show booth, but the Benz rep, (not a local dealer rep) said she expected an AMG offering year two.
We all read that Benz was not going to do an AMG/GLK, but that was before 10,000 unitis sold, in Europe, the first month. If the GLK is an instant success in NorAm, how could they not consider an AMG offering. Newport Coast, CA needs an AMG/GLK.
I never understood an R/AMG, but given wheel base and weight of GLK, it seems to be an obvious AMG star candidate.
I will buy the initial GLK offering, fully loaded, pending test drive, and I will trade in for AMG upon availability. How cool it would be if they deliver an AMG/GLK with same or clsoe MPG as 350 GLK.
You gota know they have GLK/AMG engines, in the lab, screaming right now.
