Here are some pics of a GLK I saw at my son's baseball game yesterday. Maybe this will prompt some of you owners to post your pics

Couple observations - If this is Steel Grey color, it is awesome. Goes from a very light green to a superb shade of grey depending on where the sun is shining. This one had AL interior and it looked very nice with the Black interiror and Grey exterior. I didn't like the wheels too much but they compliment the car very nicely.

Oknish, best Steel Gray rep on net or in print I have seen. Very hard to capture and you came close, but as you noticed, this color must be appreciated on a GLK in real light. I have seen the color in a showroom and on the lot in sun, outstanding. I have not seen Steel Gray at night, but I bet it looks like black with more depth and shadow lines.

My GLK with steel gray exterior, almond interior, wood, is on order for April build. Cannot wait.

There are times when I think the USA, exterior pack 20" wheels are great and times when they just do not make it, but overall, I like them very much. I think the USA 20s are mor contemporary, today. The Canadian 20s are my first choice, but look a bit dated or last gen, like me.

Thanks Oknish for the unique, great photos.

So did you guys notice the Steel roof bars on the pics I posted? Those look real sharp in person too. Overall, very pleasing to the eye. IMO, X3 and RDX have no chance once Q5 starts rolling too.

steel gry is a funky color, under some lights it looks absolutely amazing, even somewhat purple-ish. On other days, mostly gloomy I notice, it looks flat and dull... saw a GLK as such and it look like a fat bottom rat... :P This "under certain" lighting character kinda reminds me of a Seinfeld episode...

i think i'll stick with black, its the safest color.

I always order black cars and my sons all bought black cars, BUT my GLK will be Steel Gray. I think it is the best of both worlds. I love the way the gray changes with lighting. Also, the gray looks best with the bright roof rails.

I live in Socal where we only allow three gray days per year and we do not have fat bottom rats. No problem.

Is your last name Ford by any chance which is why you like all colors as long as they are Black

I love the MB Black and my GL is Black but it is a b@#$h to keep clean. I get it cleaned every other week but it's really futile. My wife's Volvo, light metallic green, OTOH will not show dirt no matter what. I have a feeling that GLK's Grey is the same way as the Volvo's Green.

Agreed, Black, especially non metallic black is the hardest to keep clean but its also the most rewarding when you detail it....

Here is another one I took this AM while I was on the way to my son's school. Pretty nice looking white and the lady driving it looked real happy too

Not the best quality but, hey, I was driving and my iPhone was handy.
