BMW 325iX Sport Wagon, Range Rover
Wife got a Range Rover to take advantage of over 6k vehicle tax benefit in December 04. In 05, the loophole existed in USA, but at a MUCH lower, who cares tax benefit.
GLK would not come close to qualify.

A loophole still exists. It is from the fall stimulus. It is for rapid depreciation not for a tax credit (which, yes, was amazing) but it still works to drop you into a lower tax bracket.
Last time I looked it was $25K+50%+20%
GLK Maximum GVW 5467 -- yea so that means the GLK does not qualify.
At least it is not close. The Acura MDX is like 5995 - someone at Acura needs to add five pounds.
Looks like I will continue to look at the ML
