I purchased my MB GLK in mid Feb, & was told it would leave GER at the end of March, delivered to Halifax by the end of April, and then delivered to me here in Vancouver, BC by mid May.
I just wanted to know the situation on the delivery as I still haven't heard back from the dealer yet. Did you buy yours around the same time as me? Do you know if yours has been shipped already?
In general, how long did yours take to get to you if you have already got it?

Also, were you guys able to negotiate anything in terms of price with your dealer? Were/are there any promos? What kind of deal did you get from your seller?

First of all, welcome to the forum!

I purchased my around mid march, the built date on the car was Feb.

I was about 1700 below invoice with 1.9% 66months finance.

I ordered mine on the first week of Feb. The GLK is arrived at Halifax on Mar 18. My dealer told me that they should have it on the first week of April. I will call them tomorrow to arrange pickup.

I only get $2K off MSRP plus $500 coupon from MB Canada for their Oct 2008 promo

I bought one in Richmond, were able to get 980CAD off it!

ooooo! Interesting..Did they give you that same arrival date when you ordered it, or did you get a call recently? I'm just wondering because mine is arriving in mid May as I mentioned (meaning 3 MONTHS after I bought it)!

I bought my GLK from MB Oakville Ontario. I visited at least 5 dealers in the Toronto GTA area and the most they can do was $1200 off. Thanks for "Baby G" (member from this forums), he told me that he got a great deal at MB Oakville. I went there and ordered my GLK with the wood trim (other dealers don't have this until June's production).

I called my dealer about 2 weeks ago, and they gave me the VIN # and told me that my GLK will be here in April. I ordered mine at MB Oakville, Ontario.

I ordered my GLK on January 28, 2009.
The build date was Feb 2.2 (second 10-days in February 2009)
I picked up my GLK on March 28, 2009

The Atlantic trip was on time.
Stored in Halifax ok.
Held up in Concord, Ontario...at the vehicle train marshalling yards (plug Concord into goggle map). The reason is that most manufacturers use the same facilities to ship vehicles. As we know many manufacturers are not selling vehicles and the marshalling yards are PLUGGED.

When's yr estimated delivery or whatever? I called my dealer & was told I could have it by the end of this month (originally it was mid May), but I didn't get a VIN number or anything.

What kind of features/packages does yrs have?

I got the Premium, Sports (Aluminum roof rails included), Bi-Xenon, Nav, Media interface, Rear view camera, Walnut wood trim, etc.

The VIN should be included on that long form detailing the agreed-upon price for the vehicle, right next to the year and model.

As for GTA prices, I suspect you won't get much of a deal, given that it's a 2010 model, and they sell like hotcakes, even at full retail, and there will be someone who will pay full price just to drive the newest thing (I live in Markham....trust me....). The poster who listed ~$1000 or so as a discount is pretty much correct.

I beg to differ, since I got 2K, plus a 500 clothing coupon for a retailer as well. I got similar deals to two other members. It all depends on where and who you are ordering from. If anyone is interested, the coupon is no longer offered, but I am sure I can get you the same 2K off the price. You can PM me for more details.

When did you finalize that deal? I went to the Thornhill location and got a deal close to what you say, but no $500 coupon!!
