Passenger side mirror tilt exist? US version

So,
I've tried two ways to program it:

While in park position and key in position 2.
1. push right (passenger) side mirror button
2. Adjust desired position to see curb or what not.
3. push M button
4. push one of the adjustment arrow.

If successful, the right side mirror shouldn't move and will now tilt if car is put in reverse.

Second method.
1. Put the car in R gear
2. Push right mirror button and adjust to desired position
3. Push M

Both method does not work for US version that has a built date of 2/09
I am resorted to using M3 for programming side mirror to tilt. But this is manual and would require pressing another M1 to restore it. ARGH! MBUSA

I just posted asking for this in another thread...haha. This sucks that you will have to use M3 for tilting mirrors, better than nothing. In my case M3 is even worse of an option as I'm sharing the cars so only one of us can really use M3 (need M4 now hehe).

I'm guessing you followed the manual that you had posted before.

which is crap because the motor to tilt already exist, just need to link it to comp for R gear.

I really like to know who's putting these packages together for MBUSA..... really really out of touch and diminishes the true engineering of MB vehicles.

totally agree...issue like this would be easily fixable on VW as most of the functions are there and just not active for US. Simple tool can change a lot of factory settings. I wish this was the case for MB

edit: I think in the second method you don't need to push M in your last step, not sure if this would make a difference tho.
