NYCGLK Pulled the Trigger....Finally
So as many of you know I’ve been going back and forth for quite some time now.
I’ll use this post as an intro as well. I’m 23 coming from 2 Toyotas (01 Solara-sold and 03 Matrix – my wife’s). My better half and I decided to upgrade. We both work for big 4 and share one car, as we use bus or ferry to get to work.
It wasn’t easy to find what I wanted. Number one issue I was having is finding lighting package, which I really wanted. This is a rare option. I also wanted silver as I don't wash my cars often enough. Long story short, there was a car with everything I wanted and with one extra feature that I didn't care about (hitch). It's arriving in US on April 8th, and was heading to Colorado. Should be here delivered to me in the end of April.
The car:
Silver
PP, MM, 20's, Lighting Package, heated seats and hitch (I think it also has rear dvd preparation, whatever it means, it was only 160 bux).
I'm also getting 3year extended warranty, so total warranty is 7yr/75k. I'm hoping to keep this car for a while.
Bottom line $42,500 + $3500 warranty.
One thing to note, I have previously posted that 3 year warranty was $2600, it was 1 year warranty for total 75k miles. 3 year warranty is $3500.
I’ll post pics as soon as I get the car no worries.

I hope you are happy with your new vehicle. We are still in the honeymoon phase with our baby and it doesn't look like we will be coming out of it any time soon. The fuel mileage was our concern and so far, it hasnt been as bad as we had first thought. I hope the GLK is a good decision for you and your family.

Well I still don't have the car yet. We'll see how much I like it. I hope I do. I always wanted a bimmer. But with town driving, very crappy NJ roads and BMW dealership far away (they are pretty unreliable from what I read), it made more sense to get an SUV.

Dealer called today confirming that they were able to take the car from the other dealer in CO where my car was originally going.
I think I'll be picking it up on 25th as my sales guy will be on vacation from 13th to 20th.

MSRP is 47,375.
I think I made a typo back then, I'm getting it for $43,500, and not getting the ext warranty.
Picking the car up tomorrow.

Nope. I lost it as I made decision in April when 2K discount was gone. The guy took some more money off after applying 2k back, so my price went up only 1k, still sucked. On the other had I paid still less then I was prepared to pay.

Call Benzel Busch at 866-751-2754 ask for Luis Gallo (they don't have direct #, has to go through receptionist ) or just stop by and ask for him (he has thrusdays off, but he is there on Saturdays). It was pleasure dealing with him and the dealership in general, except for MB pulling 2k discount away in 4 days, but it's not their fault.

Thanks it is twin of yours, just with a hitch instead of ipod. Liking it so far. Already put 150 miles in 3 days (I don't drive to work, and live in a state where eveything is pretty close by). I'll be writing my review in a week or so.
So far so good. Addaptive xenons are awesome, saw them in action yesterday, and could tell they do turn. Not sure why tunnel mode doesn't work (if you press and hold "inside ventilation" button windows and sunrood don't close).
