Has anyone installed the chrome fog lamp surrounds on their GLK? I can't imagine it would be difficult, but please explain the process to me before I buy them. Thanks!!

my guess they clip on or have to be glued on. I think it's latter one.

Thanks! I'm really happy with the job my friend from 212 Motoring did.
Next up- LED bulb where that parking light is, and Xenon's for the Fog lights. Can't wait!!!

I know, I've been takin notice to alot of cars on the road! dont understand why the car companies send out cars with xenons and that yellowish parking light. So many vehicles come like that from the factory.

i just use scotch tape doubles face 3M.

I'm looking at a lot of the new cars coming out, and old school Fog lights are out! All the new cars coming out are going with LED Fogs (a la Audi) New E class will have em, as well as the face lifted S class. Would have loved to have em on the front grill of the GLK.

Yea I think those fogs gotta go. Maybe LED retrofit is too much work, but I think I'm gonna put brighter bulbs (like I'll ever use them for what they are supposed to be used for)

How much you pay for the parts? I am also looking at the chrome trim for trunk door and 4 door handle chrome cups. Dont know if all of them are DIY parts.

Well I'm gettin xenons Fogs, looks sick! Seen em on a CLS that my friend did. As for the parking light, stickin LED'd in there. All the lights will be Xenon white, wit a hint of blue. Probably this weekend, post after i get em done.

ruiyu, My dealing quoted me CAD$283 for parts and $240 for installation (sounds silly if only needs to be taped on). how much did you pay for the parts?

I installed mine myself. Clean bumper with the wipes (included in the kit), peel tape backings, stick on, perfect fit.

I just bought the parts. Dealer try to charge me $120 for peeling the back paper. So I said no thanks.
