22" Wheels for GLK?
Tires: 255/45/20 vs 265/35/22
What do you guys think in terms of comfort level?
Has anyone added 22 wheels to their GLK's yet.
I drive on really crappy roads, so even 20s are not really ideal for me, but GLK does a good job with them. My next set will be 235/60/17 for winter.
Wheels 9.5 x 22 (I will get back to you with the offset, but I think it was around 42 but let me double check)
Pirelli tires scorpion zero: 265/35/22
So far, after 1 day: the ride is still smooth, road noise is the same as stock
No fender rolling or rubbing of any sort
In terms of comfort level, I would say about 95% the same as the original ride (used the same brand of tires as the stock version)
I can definitely feel more grip especially during hard turns and even more when combined with the Sport option in our ride
So far I luv it

By the way, I saved about $8000, original brabus wheels were about $9,300 21" wheels and tires
My 22" wheels and tires installed with TPMS transferred from old to new total $1800 cash

That's good they don't rub, hoping to put 255 on my 20s when it's time to replace them.

Did you say the whole set was only $1,800? I'd guess tires alone would cost close to $1,200.

Would love to get one but .....
I had low profile tires on my old car but with the potholes in NJ on I-80 I had flat tires almost every year.
Drove down to Walnut CA but they also have a mobile service that will drive to you
Ask for Mark, he is the owner and he will find you whatever wheels you are looking for (He's seems like a good guy)
Dont be afraid to negotiate, I could have probably got my wheels and tires cheaper but I was in a hurry
They specialize in Benz wheels

I don't think he's talking about "winter tires".
