Brabus Pedals

I think something similar was mentioned in another thread before but don't know what became of it.
Thanks.

BTW, that CF set from Brabus is $1,500 bux and you have to send your alum trim, what a rip off.
Click on that web link, they have AMG one's also!

Oh no, that quote for $1500 is from a different company
and I think they need your aluminum trim for the mold, not to keep, you get them back
I still have not heard back from brabus but I know that it will be alot more expensive.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
c'mon, we own GLK and G55
Carbon fiber trim
10 pieces for a whopping $5600
with only a 4-5 wk wait
ooowwwiiiieee.....
To rich for my blood.
I will probably just go wit a local company that dos them for $1500
Havent had time to put them on yet
I think they look great, only thing is that i have to drill but no biggie

Took me about 2 hours but I'm sure a pro can do this in about 15-30 mins max
In the process (because I was impatient) I broke 2 drill bits (damn)
All in all I think it looks great
I used my camera phone on some of the pics thats why they came out smaller
I will try to retake more pictures with my regular camera
I kinda slowed down on modyfying this car, i got into fixing my other ride, I will wait till more products are available for our GLK.
Next thing on my list is to black out the front grille (pretty cheap $45 I'm really hoping that i will not ruin the look of the GLK), then definitely get the struts from GLK4Matic ($399) when he makes them available to us.
1) Remove all of the rubber peices on the pedals.
2) This one is pretty easy to drill through since its plastic. I just drilled 2 holes.

3) This is metal so its a bit harder to drill through. 4 holes total in the end but only 2 shown.

4) For the gas pedal you have to cut the rubber piece in order to take it off the plastic pedal. I'm sure there are other ways to do this without any cutting but I was too lazy to try to figure that out.

Here it is cut

5) For the gas pedals its pretty easy to drill through, its also plastic. 3 holes total
6) for the footrest, this was the easiest to install, just screw it in to your desired location, no drilling necessary. the screws provided goes right thru the carpet.
7) Result (Sorry for the low quality of photo)

Thanks for the pics of the install so we have an idea what we are getting into if we decide to get those. Seem pretty easy even with drilling tho.
I wish I had time for all of this. Maybe over the summer I'll do some mods.
