Need help on current price

Looking to purchase new GLK with P1 package, heated seats and Command nav package. MSRP $42,465. 2.9% finance offer 66 months--offer price of $38,900 plus tax, tittle, tags etc...

Located in Long Island. Different dealers are quoting different price. Most are saying they cant match this price. Also, I am eligible for $1000 fleet discount from MB. How do i know if above price already takes that into account. Then it really is $39,900 with/ 1000 rebate. BTW invoice is $39,554

Finally, should I wait til August to see if financing comes back down to 1.9% and/or other incentives others have spoken about.

Is this a good deal? I hope the $38,900 doesnt take fleet rebate and I can get for $37,900!

Many thanks,
Confused first time MB buyer

I used my $1000 fleet rebate AFTER negotiating the price so I got it for invoice minus the $1000. Try the $37,900 - you have noithing to loose or worst case go for 38,554 (1K less invoice).

Cheers

sound pretty good to me in either case.

Considering the big discounts nowdays have you thought of getting more options? Lighting package and premium sound are better than the Premium Package IMO. Also apperance package with 20's is nice, comes with better tires and wheels are much easier to clean than 19's.

which dealerships on Long Island did you look at? First it sounds like you have an amazing price. But if you're near Lakeview I suggest getting from them, by far the best service out of any dealership I have ever been to. They really give you first class attention.

Smithtown,Huntington,Massapequa. Where is Lakeview?

I was able to get them to do the deal at $38,900 plus the fleet rebate. $37,900 total buy cost. Very happy with service so far in Huntington.

Pretty close to closing the deal..regarding options, trying to get car on dealer lot so we can close by month end and not kill my wallet with extras that will just add more to the cost.

Thanks for help and look forward to driving away soon!

You're doing much better than me, I'm getting quote of 46k + tax/license for GLK with premium pkg, multimedia, lighting, Ipod/MP3, wood interior, heated seats, Parktronic, Tele Aid, Running boards. I definitely won't be buying one with the running boards tho...

BTW this is in Northern NJ. I would say go for it!

well your GLK is loaded too, 46k for all this is not bad at all. Check invoice on that thing you should be pretty close to it.

I got 4 packages, metallic, heated seats and hitch for 44 and it was right around invoice.

Just for reference: I just picked up my GLK from the port in Hawaii. Local dealer didn't have what I wanted (plus the price was way too high) so I purchased from Mercedes-Benz of Long Beach and shipped it to Hawaii myself. Iridium Silver, Black MB-Tex, Alum Trim, Premium I, Lighting, Multimedia, Appearance, and iPOD/MP3 interface. $2500 below invoice! Dez, the internet director there is great to do business with.

The company that I work for produces components for Mercedes (and other car manufacturers). In turn Mercedes offers a rebate (or fleet deal) when we buy a new car that it pays directly to the dealer... Depending on the car, the rebate can be substantial.

If you are in sales or an executive at some companies Mercedes will subsidize a rebate to the dealer on top of your lowest negotiated price. For the GLK it is $1000. For other models more. It is in place because your company purchases cars from MB

http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/#/fleetExploreOverview/ this is the link to MB website that talks about it.

Does anyone know if Mercedes still offers a Chrysler employee discount?
